Saskatoon Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) is a community-based organization providing leadership, and resources towards preventing, reducing, and ending homelessness in Saskatoon.  We are looking for a type A personality who is a wiz with spreadsheets, many small details and managing multiple complex financial budgets and projects all at the same time.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    Work collaboratively with the Reaching Home Program to ensure financial and administration requirements of the Reaching Home program are met
    Provide reporting requirement training to sub-project staff when needed
    Work collaboratively with the Bookkeeper to ensure expenses and income are represented accurately for
reaching home programs and SHIP budget
    Assign work to other staff as required
    In conjunction with the Executive Director assist community developers with business plans and funding
applications as needed
    over see the efficient functioning of the Administrative component of the SHIP organization
QUALIFICATIONS ANO EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
You are collaborative, creative, and passionate about working with the community. You have the following qualifications or an equivalent combination of education and related experience:
    A relevant post-secondary degree/diploma in a related discipline e.g. commerce, administration, business studies, economics, community development and/or relevant experience.
    Working knowledge of the non-profit funding world and federal government funding reporting standards.
    Assets: experience with Reaching Home programs, other housing programs and funders, and other organizations in the industry.
    Working knowledge of community Issues such as homelessness, colonization, poverty reduction, etc.
    Experience In project management, administration, monitoring and evaluation, business plans Is an asset
    Ability to supervise and direct staff
    Ability to maintain accurate records
    Competence In the use of office software applications
