Description

Summary of Position
The Summer Literacy Coordinator will be expected to deliver a diverse array of outdoor literacy activities.  The Coordinator must be prepared to demonstrate initiative and creativity.  We are seeking a committed and self-motivated person to engage children and families in literacy activities.  
This is a temporary position, commencing July 4th to 29th and August 8th to 12th, 2022.  The successful candidate will work 3 days (20 hours per week).
Duties/Responsibility and Expectations:
Plan and organize literacy activities for a variety of age groups
Collaborate with outside agencies to plan a program of activities to engage children/families
Deliver resources and programming to children/families
Maintain accurate records as required
Manage a small budget including all financial records.
Ensure adherence to all program directives and guidelines.
Other duties as assigned by Living Sky School Division.
Qualifications/Requirements:
A valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract with access to a reliable vehicle is required
Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
