Description

Responsible for providing full library service to the surrounding community through the direction of the Lakeland Library Region. Complete job description available on request.

Required:
-    Grade 12 or equivalent
-    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-    Computer and keyboarding skills
-    Outgoing, energetic and service-oriented
-    Demonstrated ability to work independently
-    Ability to reach a range of shelves between 5 cm and 200 cm off the floor
-    Current criminal record check (upon hire)

Preferred:
-    Experience with the circulation module of an integrated library system
-    Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 15 kg on a weekly basis
-    Previous library experience

Hours of work:  10 hours per week

Starting wage:  $15.74 per hour per CUPE Local #3077 collective agreement
