At S3 Manufacturing, the Material Handler is responsible for storing, moving, handling, and providing raw materials to the production team.

Job Overview:
    Conducting daily checks of equipment
    Picking materials to fill production workstations in a timely and safe manner
    Receiving, verifying, organizing, and monitoring materials
    Maintaining good housekeeping and accurate record processing of materials
    Maintain required equipment inspection documentation
    Ability to work safely
    Punctuality and maintain good attendance
Skills and Abilities:
    Valid Forklift Operator Certification required
    Grade 12 Diploma, or equivalent
    Experience in material handling, or previous comparable job experience
    Ability to count, measure and record information accurately
    Positive and cooperative team player
    Possess strong organizational and problem solving skills
    Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel programs an asset
    Capable of adapting to and learning new software applications
    Capable of working with minimal supervision
    Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with others in English

 

Skills and Abilities

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
 - Forklift Operator Certification
