We have an amazing maintenance team at SaskCentral that delivers a top-notch tenant experience. It is a great place to exercise both fresh skills and established experience in a positive environment that supports your career path. The regular schedule is 7.5 hours Monday to Friday. Balance is important so the team rotates through the on call schedule and you will perform weekend checks every third week.
As someone who is mechanically inclined, you will be responsible for following preventative maintenance programs/procedures and ensuring all OH&S standards are met. You will monitor, control and schedule heating, cooling, air handling equipment programs and apply water treatment programs. You will maintain sidewalks, parking lots and grounds and ensure the building security system is responsive and maintained. Responding to card access requests in a timely manner and maintaining the cardholder database is also part of your ongoing responsibilities.
The successful candidate will have Firemans Certification, Refrigeration Engineers Certification, and WHMIS Certification. The ability to read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and familiarity with building automation systems will be key to your success in this position.
