What you will do:
Operate and maintain all steam plant equipment and systems
Operate and maintain compressed air, fire water, mill water, and potable water systems
Understand and abide by the collective bargaining agreement and relevant regulations
Perform normal shift duties, including associated utility and operational work
What you will bring:
Valid Second-Class Power/Steam Engineer Certificate for the Province of Saskatchewan
Level 2 Water Treatment and Water Distribution Certification is required within a year of hire. Possession of Certification is considered an asset.
5 years of progressive experience in a plant operation environment with exposure to production, maintenance, safety, environmental compliance, and administration
Excellent understanding of all the process equipment in the area of process water, compressed air, refrigeration, ventilation, water treatment for the boilers, heating, and cooling
Ability to interact positively with other crew members and supervisors
Must be able to work independently while on shift work and make and implement technical decisions
