Description

Responsibilities:
-Must be able to specify, install, program, troubleshoot, de-bug and repair mill process measurement / control instrumentation.
-Must be able to produce and / or update documentation related to the above as required.
-Must have strong communication skills, with an ability to clearly communicate directly to other departments and department personnel.
-Should show initiative in improving or suggesting ways of improving the methods and strategies used to measure and control the mill processes.

Skills and Qualifications:
-Instrumentation Engineering Technology diploma
-Journeyperson Instrumentation Technician certificate or Industrial Maintenance experience are assets
-Solid working knowledge of DCS systems, PLCs, SMART field devices, Windows based application software
-Fisher- Rosemount, Device Net, Modicon PLC experience or training preferred
-Delta V Implementation 1 and 2 is an asset
-Delta V Virtualization is an asset
-Experience with SAP is an asset
-Strong troubleshooting abilities
-Willingness and ability to work independently, as well as, part of a team
-Must have a positive working relationship with supervisors and fellow staff
-Must be willing to work day / night shift work

Work Location & Schedule:
-McClean Lake
-14 days in and 14 days out rotating schedule
-Travel day may change depending on operational needs
