Description

What you will do:

Perform mine surveying, including field layout of mine design, laser advance for mining machines, pick-ups of as-built mine excavations, and other location, elevation, and layout requirements
Provide other survey support to operations in both underground and surface locations
Perform in-field data collection, system maintenance, and preliminary reporting of the Rock Mechanics Information System
Perform in-field data collection, system maintenance, and preliminary reporting on the performance of the ventilation network for the underground mine
Monitor ground movement in the underground through various means
Develop and maintain mine maps (as-built, ventilation, egress)
Perform miscellaneous work as assigned by their supervisor
Be accountable for the time, quality, and cost of the above tasks
