Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full Time Food Prep Clerk at our C-Store and Gas Bar location in Air Ronge, SK.

Reporting to the Air Ronge C-Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
-Demonstrate the day-to-day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
-Engage and interact with guests to create a positive shopping experience- in person, on the telephone and at the point of sale
-Preparing store-made products according to established recipes and developing /costing new recipes
-Ordering, receiving, and pricing merchandise
-Completing production and maintenance records
-Following all applicable food safety and labelling regulations
-Continually monitor code dates to ensure the freshest inventory; Follow FIFO
-Maintaining a clean, safe food preparation environment at all times
-Running reports and identifying market trends
-Operation of the point of sale and back-office system
-Assisting in all other areas of the store as required

Who you are:

-You have a grade 12 or combination of relevant experience

-You are well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision
-You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
-You are familiar with food safe procedures and practices; Food Safe Level 1 or equivalent would be considered an asset
-Ability to lift and load products; extensive physical labour is required
-You can work in a fast paced, guest facing environment
-You have a flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays
