Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full Time Hardware Team Leader at our Home Centre location in Prince Albert, SK.

Reporting to the Home Centre Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
-Demonstrate the day-to-day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
-Engage and interact with guests to create a positive shopping experience- in person, on the telephone and at the point of sale
-Manage the development and direction of the operational team to drive the growth of revenue and productivity
-Effectively and efficiently manager the development and direction of the reporting team members
-Budget, administer and be responsible for the sales, margins, expenses, inventory, and sales per employee hour for the Hardware Department
-Ensure the department is displaying, stocking, and rotating merchandise as per company policy and standard. This includes orderly displays and properly priced products with labels and tags; items priced according to association pricing strategy

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Home & Building Products and Customer Service:
-You have a grade 12 or combination of relevant experience; post secondary in general business education is an asset
-You are honest and trustworthy, are results orientated, and strive to be the best in the work that you do
-You are well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision
-Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, paint, lawn/garden equipment and builders hardware is an asset
-Ability to lift and load products; extensive physical labour is required
-You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
