Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full Time Temporary Assistant Head Cashier ( May 17th, 2022- July 31st, 2023)  at our Food Store location in Prince Albert, SK

Reporting to the Head Cashier, responsibilities for this position include the following:
-Demonstrate the day-to-day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
-Engage and interact with guests to create a positive shopping experience- in person, on the telephone and at the point of sale
-Assist in leading a culture of safety and maximizing operational efficiency
-Assist with daily reports, cash ups and other administrative tasks
-Being present on floor to assist with customer questions, complaints, and comments
-Liaising with management to ensure operations run smoothly
-Procurement, receiving and merchandising of product with focus on customer- friendly presentation
-Other Duties as assigned

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service:
-You have a grade 12; experience within the CRS would be considered an asset
-You are honest and trustworthy, are results orientated, and strive to be the best in the work that you do
-You are well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision
-You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
-You have excellent numeracy skills, including adding and subtracting large numbers and can operate electronic Point of Sale
-Ability to manage others and successfully lead a team
-You have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment
-You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
