We are currently looking for a full time experienced trim/finish carpenter to join our team. We build some of the areas most premier kitchens and millwork projects, as such we are looking for an individual who is incredibly detail oriented and capable of quality work. We are a company that focuses heavily on investing in both our people as well as our equipment and tools. We hire for passion, personality, and positivity first and foremost. To fill this position the applicant must be able to excel in a fast-paced shop and site environment, be responsible for working independently as well as in a team. Experience working on high end residential interor finishing projects a must, additional experience working in production style cabinet shops or installing cabinets will be heavily favored.
Will be required to operate the following and more:
Fit, install and prep, millwork including baseboard, casing and crown mouldings.
Fit and install solid wood passage doors and jambs.
Some stair work, and wall paneling will be required.
Cabinet installation may also be required.
The ability to operate the following equipment safetly and effeciently is required:
Sliding and conventional table saw
Jointers/Planers
Clamping racks
Vacuum Press
Various handtools and saws.
Belt sanders
Nail guns
Mitre and track saws.
Countertops in wood, laminate, composites
Installations of the above
Applicants must have a valid drivers licence, with their own transportation. Being able to drive a 1-ton truck with large trailer as well as operating a skid steer are also required. Must be able to pass a background check, and show up ready to work everyday.
