Description

The Health Quality Council (HQC) is looking for an Improvement Lead-Measurement Focus. HQC works to accelerate improvement in health and health care across the province through training and education, improvement initiatives, and research.

We are looking for someone who has the knowledge and experience to:
-Lead and facilitate measurement design that supports planning, implementation, and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives.
-Build capability with our partners in the use of data and performance improvement methods to inform decisions and policy by:
-Proactively building and maintaining networks in support of continuous improvement.
-Fostering relationships and partnerships to advance system improvement.

The Improvement Lead will:
-Establish and maintain key relationships and work collaboratively with health system partners and community-based partners to achieve shared priorities.
-Build capacity, capability, motivation, and energy for change using quality improvement methods and measurement approaches.
-Curate information, knowledge, and evidence through a systematic learning approach, to identify and inform improvement opportunities for priority work with stakeholders and provincial partners.

Qualifications
-Masters degree in a health-related discipline, education, engineering, social sciences, business or public health administration or statistics and demonstrated experience (at least 3 years) in a position leading performance measurement.
Or,
-Bachelors degree in a health-related discipline, education, engineering, social sciences, business or public health administration or statistics and demonstrated experience (at least 5 years) in a position leading performance measurement.
-Training in quality improvement science, tools and methods (ie. Lean Improvement Leaders Training or other) would be considered an asset.
-Employees must also provide and maintain a satisfactory criminal record check.
