The Health Quality Council is inviting applications for a permanent full time Senior Marketing and Communications Consultant, based in our Saskatoon office. HQC measures and reports on health care quality and supports quality improvement throughout our health care system.

This position reports to the Manager of Marketing and Communications and is part of the team supporting internal and external driven strategies, programs, events, and initiatives.

This role contributes to the mission and vision of the organization by:
    Providing strategic marketing and communications counsel to HQC staff
    Contributing to strategic marketing and communications plans both externally and internally to support our strategic direction
    Managing HQCs reputation and brand
    Developing HQCs publications
    Managing online and social media editorial content
    Advocating for, and promoting awareness of, HQCs strategic initiatives and tactics that support the work to connect people, ignite ideas, and accelerate improvement within Saskatchewan
    Other duties as assigned

For this specific opportunity, HQC is looking to complement our team with someone who:
    Is adept at relating strategic goals and objectives to the design and implementation of tasks;
    Has a strong background in writing, media, creating traditional and digital marketing and communications materials and strategies;
    Is able to manage digital assets and has experience with web content using a client-centered approach;
    Has an ability to clearly and concisely compose and edit a variety of documents such as articles, web content, and other marketing and communications materials;
    Has experience using communications and marketing related software (for more details, please see the job posting).

Qualifications: University degree in a relevant discipline plus five years of marketing and communications experience. Eligibility for IABC membership is an asset. A Criminal Background Check is required.
