IntraGrain Technologies Inc., a Calian Company, is currently recruiting for an HR Coordinator to join our growing team. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will be primarily focused on facilitating the recruitment and new employee onboarding experience but will also be involved in a variety of other HR activities.
You will play a key role in building positive relationships with hiring managers and candidates. You will facilitate the process for job postings, scheduling & participating in interviews, creating letters of offer, and onboarding new employees.
What will you be doing?
Leading the recruitment process (with the support of the HR Manager), including the creation of job descriptions, job advertisements, interview guides, scheduling and conducting interviews and completing reference checks
Attending career fairs + developing partnerships with post-secondary institutions and community organizations in order to develop and maintain a candidate pipeline
Collaborating with other teams to develop sourcing strategies that address talent gaps
Leading the orientation and onboarding of new staff
Responsible for administrative functions, file management and data entry
Assisting with payroll & benefits administration
Acting as backup to the HR Manager
What skills will you bring?
Post-secondary education in the field of Human Resources or related field is required
Minimum 1 3 years of experience in the field of HR
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong computer skills; including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Able to perform consistently in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and frequent interruptions
High attention to detail
Strong time management, problem solving and organizational skills
