Are you passionate about empowering young people? Doyouenjoy reasoned discussions and debates?

Develop andplanmaterial for speech and debate programming
Developmaterials and resources for our summercamp
Developpublic speaking and debateguidesforcoaches andteachers
Developrelationships with various community organizations across theprovince
Assist with implementing fundraising opportunities and outreach strategy into program planning and delivery  
Plan and deliverpublic speaking and debate workshops and classes.
Participate in feedback and reportingprocesses

Qualifications and Skills
Minimumgrade 11education
Writing skills
interpersonal and communication skills
Digital skills
Leadership experience, and team oriented  
Access to computer/laptop/tablet and internet connection
Speech or debate experience anasset
Experience working with young people considered an asset
Successful criminal record and vulnerable sector check


This jobisfunded in part though the Canada Summer Jobs Program.To be eligible, applicants must:
Be between 15 and 30 years of age atthe start of theemployment
