Description

The Saskatchewan Elocution and Debate Associations vision is a world where youth have the confidence and skills to engage in reasoned discourse on complex and difficult issues. Our mission is to advance the speech arts among Saskatchewan youth by providing elocution and debate programs and resources.

SEDA is looking for creative people to design marketing materials and social media content, as well as develop a communications strategy for sponsors and donors. Working in collaboration with the Executive Director, the marketing coordinator will pursue marketing and communications related projects suited towards the individuals interest and strength.  

Create, develop, and plan
social media communications strategy
marketing and promotional materials for SEDA programming
communications strategy for key sponsors and donors
fundraising strategies
partnerships with community organizations and businesses

Qualifications and Skills
At least a grade 12 education
1+ years marketing related experience  
Access to computer/laptop/tablet and internet connection
Digital skills
Writing skills
Marketing experience  
Design Experiences
Interpersonal and communication skills
Reliable
Speech or debate experience an asset
Successful criminal record check with vulnerable sector


This jobisfunded in part though the Canada Summer Jobs Program.To be eligible, applicants must:
Be between 15 and 30 years of age atthe start of theemployment
