Suer & Pollon Mechanical is a mechanical contractor located in Saskatoon completing commercial/institutional/industrial projects of all sizes in Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba. We are looking for an enthusiastic project manager/estimator to join our team. This individual must be able to work under pressure and be able to coordinate and work well with others. Duties Estimator
    Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
    Prepare estimates according to project specifications and blueprints
    Complete manual/computer take-offs for projects
    Understand scope of work
    Manage bid pricing from all vendors
    Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors

Duties Project Manager
    Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
    Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
    Ensure resource availability and allocation
    Develop project plans to monitor and track progress
    Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs.
    Measure project performance
    Manage the relationship with the client

Qualifications
    Preferable to have a Mechanical Technologist, Mechanical Engineer or 4th Year Apprentice or Journeyman Plumber/Sheetmetal
    Proven work experience in Estimating/project management
    Experience in mechanical commercial construction, industrial experience an asset
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
    Intermediate computer skills in Excel and Word
