Description

Based in Prince Albert, the key responsibilities of the Coordinator will include:
     Support the Board in carrying out its governance functions
     Develop operational plans and budgets to achieve strategic goals
     Assess community needs and implement Victim Services programs and services
     Provide daily  administration including program alignment, compliance with operational policy, program evaluation and maintenance of record-keeping and information management systems
     Manage the human resources of the organization and to develop a collaborative team based culture.  Providing on-call services and support to the Assistant Co-ordinators and volunteers
     Ensure accountability throughout the organization, including the preparation of required reports for the Board, funders, key stakeholders and public
     Develop and grow funding sources
     Develop and maintain effective relationships with media, public and key stakeholders.

Our ideal candidate will be a strategic and collaborative team leader with strong communication and interpersonal skills, who is professional, caring and compassionate.   In addition, the individual will have:
    Degree in human resources and five years experience in a management position (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
    Experience in the not-for-profit setting (familiarity with Policy Governance an asset)
        Hold a valid Driver's License and have ability to travel (11 detachment service area)
     Willing to travel regularly as supervisor and for on-call services

Note:  The successful applicant must pass RCMP Security Clearance and a Vulnerable Sector Record Check.  Global reference checks will be conducted.  Salary is competitive with similar positions in the not-for-profit sector within Saskatchewan.
