The Beaver River Regional Housing Authority (BRRHA) is currently recruiting an Administrative Assistant to join their team. BRRHA manages 291 housing units in Beauval and 6 surrounding communities, providing social housing to low-income seniors, families and others who could not otherwise access safe, secure shelter. If you have excellent organizational skills, are able to multitask, and thrive in a team environment, we have a position that may be of interest to you!
In this front-line administrative position, you will:
Respond to incoming calls and walk in traffic;
Respond to general inquiries, promoting awareness and understanding of housing programs; and
Prepare payment vouchers and perform various administrative functions, including record keeping, tracking, scheduling, taking rent payments, bank statement reconciliation, and other office duties.
What were looking for:
Familiarity with Microsoft Office;
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; and
Ability to maintain confidentiality
What youll need:
Grade 12 or equivalent (some post-secondary in business administration would be an asset);
Overall knowledge of all office systems and procedures;
Recognition of, and respect for peoples diversity and individual differences;
A valid drivers license, use of own vehicle and ability to travel as may be required.
An approved Enhanced (Vulnerable Sector) Criminal Record Check is required.
