The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with the general office duties within the scope of the mission and vision of the organization. Main duties include greeting people and directing them to the appropriate facilitator, assisting in answering main switchboard, screen/forward incoming calls and accurate message taking, maintain mailing and filing systems and general office/cleaning duties, along with other duties as required. Assisting in planning and delivery of events-Prepare mail-outs(i.e. Invites to special guests, members, dignitaries). Design posters for event- Attend and assist with committee meetings-Assist with coordination of volunteers, prepare event files (i.e. folders containing all event information) which are completed each year-Assisting with wrap up duties, including final reporting if required. Research and Developmental Duties: Develop templates for data collection-Identifying, summarizing and collecting data-Summarizing evaluations, preparing reports, coordinate research project. The successful candidate must be professional, reliable and display a good attitude in the workplace. The candidate is required to be flexible in their schedule including the ability to work some evenings or weekends.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Training and/or degree in the Business Admin.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment with strong multitasking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must hold a valid drivers license and have a reliable vehicle.
- Criminal records check with a vulnerable sector check MANDATORY.
