The Trade and Value-Added Branch with the Ministry of Agriculture has an exciting, two-year intern position; to develop and expand your knowledge of the agri-food industry, marketing and develop communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced team environment.
The International Research Officer will support International Market Specialists in the Market Development unit. You will work on market development initiatives and projects to support the agri-food industry in Saskatchewan. As the successful candidate, you will conduct market research analysis, support projects such as trade missions, international delegation visits, industry outreach and other market development initiatives. You will assist in updating the ministrys international materials for promotion and information purposes including layout, content and translation.
You will develop a strong network of contacts, work with experienced specialists in business development, gain experience in the government sector and develop your technical skills.
