SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team. The Senior Engineer, Cathodic Protection provides advanced engineering services to safely support the operation, maintenance, improvement, and expansion of SaskEnergy and TransGas cathodic protection systems and associated facilities. This includes applying sound engineering and industry principles, standards, practices and technology and identification and recommendation of effective business solutions supporting departmental and corporate objectives.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical, Civil, Industrial, Electrical, Electronics).
- Professional Engineer Designation registered to practice in Saskatchewan.
- Six (6) years of post-graduate industry experience and demonstrated competency in the field of practice.
- Experience or Certification in NACE Design Criteria & Corrosion Standards would be considered an asset.
- Familiarity with industry standards outlined in Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Z662 Ch 9.
- Ability to work on a team while building and maintaining effective relationships.
- Must have a continuing record of professional development and continuous learning.
A suitable combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
Additional Information
- Valid Class 5 drivers license is required.
- Travel including overnight stays away from bid headquarters is required.
