The Elizabeth Senior Retirement Community is seeking a summer student as an Administrative / Maintenance Summer Student for 8 weeks at $14 for 32 hours per week.

The position includes:
-Reception
-Assisting with programs, activities and special events
-Assist with marketing and promotional materials
-Assist maintenance with general duties including painting, window washing, minor plumbing and electrical
-Assist with transporting residents
-Assist (when required to) with serving meals
-Ground maintenance including cutting, fertilizing, watering grass and flowers, spraying lawn, trimming hedge and grass, raised garden beds, main sign

Skills
-Driver's license
-Be able to work as a team player and communicate
-Be able to multi-task
-Be able to problem solve

As this position is partially funded by ESDC the successful applicant must be 15-30 years of age at the start of employment, and a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection according to the relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations.
