Responsibilities:
-Assist in maintaining the Orano Canada Inc. Exploration Department Library, including but not limited to cataloguing, classification, indexing, digitization of physical copies and sorting of internal reports, raw data, external reports, scientific books, journals, government documents, etc
-Catalogue and edit metadata within the Exploration SharePoint site
-Digitize physical documents using various scanners while ensuring the quality matches that of the original document
-Research using knowledge of library-industry specific and exploration/mining-industry specific resources (Internet and print reference tools, electronic journal article databases, library catalogue search engines)
-Must be fully aware of role and responsibilities as defined in the Orano Integrated Management System (IMS) Core Procedures and support files. Supports and advances the application of the Orano Canada Values Charter in all aspects of their regular work duties
-Embrace and support Operational Excellence efforts and OE Culture
Skills and Qualifications:
-Completed the Library and Information Technology diploma program or equivalent
-Experience using Microsoft Suite of products including SharePoint
-Basic knowledge of geology, exploration and/or mining operations is considered an asset
-Proficiency in French is very useful
-Strong organizational, detail-oriented and time management skills; particularly in terms of data and document organization and filing
-Required to work independently within certain guidelines to complete material collection, organization, filing and indexing neatly and accurately
