Description

The Good Spirit School Division invites applications for a temporary part-time Library Technician.  Library Technicians support and assist in the development, organization and maintenance of the library of a school. Library Technicians are valuable members of a team which collaborate to promote student learning, well-being and success.

Assignment and Term:
    This position is a temporary part-time position of 3.0 hours per day in accordance with the Library Technician School Calendar.
    This position commences on Aug. 23, 2022 and will expire on June 30, 2023 or upon return of the regular employee.  The work schedule will be from 12:40 to 3:40.  Rest periods will be scheduled in accordance with AP 403 Appendix B - Rest Periods and the current collective bargaining agreement.

The successful candidate will have the desired qualifications:
    Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent.
    Acute attention to detail, adaptability, flexibility and the ability to work as a team member will be considered assets.
    Strength and proficiency with technology
Salary and Benefits:
    The successful candidate will be paid on a monthly basis at an hourly rate from $18.34-  $23.91 plus applicable vacation pay.
    Benefits include participation in the Saskatchewan School Board Association (SSBA) Employee Benefits Plan, the Municipal Employees' Pension Plan if enrollment is chosen and opportunities to attend professional development seminars.
