Madera Kitchen and Bath is offering an immediate full time bookkeeper/ controller position to candidates who are experienced friendly, motivated, organized, detail oriented and goal oriented.  

Qualifications:
-Minimum 3 years bookkeeping experience, and a sound knowledge of small business financial management;
-A high level of detail along with superior verbal written communication and organizational skills;
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare cheques for bill payment
- Review approved employee hours and process payroll
- Reconcile bank statements and credit cards
- Prepare financial statements and other financial reports
- Assist external accountant with income tax submission
- Process GST/PST remittances
- Maintain historical records by filing documents electronically and via hard copies
- Administer the provision of benefits
- Collect on overdue accounts via email or phone call reminders, or other
- Answer employee questions regarding payroll and benefits
-Track expenses and control job costs and profit/losses
