Description

Affinity Insurance is seeking a detail-oriented applicant looking for a career in Insurance and Customer Service at locations in Saskatoon, Regina, Prince Albert, Meadow Lake and Naicam.

Qualifications:
Minimum Grade 12 education and Office Education Certificate
Must be punctual, reliable and able to work in a team environment
Good problem-solving skills
Customer Service experience working with the public
Experience handling cash
Must be bondable
Must be available for Saturday shifts (when applicable)
Must have your own transportation

Work conditions include standing for an extended period of time, detailed work, repetitive tasks, and working under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

A criminal record check is required and the successful applicant must be bondable.

Your work will consist of using an Internet browser, general office equipment, database software, e-mail, spreadsheet software, word processing software, and Windows.

Skills specific to this position include ordering supplies and maintaining inventory, performing general office duties, answering inquiries and providing information to customers, explaining the type and cost of services offered, issuing receipts and other forms, and receiving payments. Office experience, accounting, and motor vehicle licensing experience are an asset.

This position requires significant use of memory, continuous learning, and computer use as you will be finding information, planning job tasks, and organizing. Critical thinking, decision making, and problem-solving will be an asset when working with others and communicating in both speaking and in writing. Numeracy and reading text will be an asset.
