Pharmasave #412, located in Fort QuAppelle, SK is currently accepting resumes for one (1) full-time Pharmacy Assistant position.

-- 36 to 40 hours per week
-- The usual shifts will fall on Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 6:15 pm, Saturdays from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, and Sundays from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
-- The successful candidate will be required to work the occasional weekend shift.
-- The usual shifts will fall between these days and times.

Responsibilities:
--Performing specific dispensing functions as outlined by provincial regulations and standards of practice (under the supervision of a pharmacist).
--Receive written prescription from customers.
--Locate the medication, select the prescription container, and count/pour the medication.
--Attach the label to the prescription container.
--Ensure that the original container, prescription container contents and label are checked and initialed by the pharmacist.
--Regularly phone customers for unclaimed prescriptions.
--Keep all areas of the pharmacy clean, neat, and professional.
--Maintain adequate stock of pharmacy supplies.
--Answer the pharmacy telephone
--Perform other tasks as outlined by the pharmacy manager or staff pharmacists.

Wage and Benefits:
--$14.00+/hr. (depends on experience).

Qualifications:
--Preference will be given to those who have retail Pharmacy Assistant experience.
--Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
--Able to work independently and has experience multi-tasking.
--Professional attitude and ability to communicate well with customers and co-workers.
--Due to the sensitive nature of this position the successful candidate must complete a Criminal Record Check.
