1. Assists with drain cleaning, operation of high pressure steam thawing jetting equipment for water and sewer, sewer relining assistant, push video inspection cameras.
2. Participates in work order preparation, keeping detailed services records.
3. Assists with field work as required, taking measurements, inspections and recording.
4. Receives and performs related assignments from senior technicians.
5. Maintains positive attitude and clean uniform at all times.
6. Maintains a clean van and assists with daily cleaning in the shop every morning.
7. Ability to drive with and hook up trailers, 16' and 10' trailers.
8. Performs other related duties as assigned.
9. Knowledge of soldering in cooper pipe would be an asset.
10. TRAINING FOR SEWER RELINING FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL BE PROVIDED INCLUDING TRIPS TO THE USA FOR CERTIFICATION.
11. Benefits package starts 6 months after hired.
Qualifications
* Grade 12 education
* Possession of a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's Licence.
* Current drivers abstract from SGI demonstrating a safe driving record.
* Ability to deal courteously and tactfully with the public and to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
* Experience drain cleaning with cable machines and jetting equipment is an asset.
* Physical ability to perform the assigned duties and carrying equipment in varying weather conditions.
* Skill in the use of a computer with spreadsheet.
* Must have good attention to detail and ability to learn quickly.
* Must know how to operate power tools and have good dexterity with hands.
* Ability to communicate in English effectively verbally and in writing.
*Criminal record check is a must.
*Clean driving abstract.
Salary
Depending on candidate knowledge. Starting at $18/hour.
