POSITION SUMMARY:
The Project Officer - Summer Student will focus on the support and development of a Social Enterprise within the YWCA Saskatoon, Employment and Learning Centre.  
HOURS OF WORK:  30 hours per week

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:  
Assist with community needs research and analysis
Assist with marketing research and analysis
Assist with business plan development
Investigate funding options


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Related post-secondary education combined with two years experience in community development and projects
Knowledgeable of employment challenges within our community
Demonstrated experience in research, collecting/compiling data and writing reports
Understanding of budgets/start up costs, cashflow and income statements
Computer skills  Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Excel, word processing, email and business plan software
Valid class 5 drivers license
As per Canada Summer Jobs Agreement
Between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment
Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
Legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial / territorial legislation and regulations

This is a part-time term position starting June 6th, 2022 and ending on July 28th, 2022.
