We are seeking a podcast producer who can grow and inspire our audience. Here, youll be the lead of our Broadcast segment. We need a podcast enthusiast, an AV guru, a natural storyteller. Your main goal is to drive Conquer Locals podcast forward to consistently rank in Apples North America Top 50 Business Podcasts lists.
This is a hybrid role with expectations of regular presence in the office as needed.
Responsibilities:
Publish weekly episodes on the Conquer Local website, Redcircle, Soundcloud, etc.
Edit podcast audio, initially with a sound engineer, and eventually on your own
Collaborate with and support the Chief Customer Officer as the main host of the Conquer Local podcast and content development
Develop a strategy to grow the Broadcast channel effectively and professionally
Act as the producer of the Conquer Local Podcast sourcing guests, pre-interviews, story arc, editing, and marketing
Create campaigns that grow the podcast audience alongside the rest of the Conquer Local ecosystem. This includes Vendastas Academy, Community, and quarterly events
Monitor the Community, Academy, etc.
Work with the Sr. Manager of Community to establish meaningful collaboration between these two areas
Monitor and update metrics; make data-driven decisions
Create content for internal and external communications
Qualifications:
5+ industry experience in broadcasting, marketing, communications, or related field
Can record and edit audio content, well versed with Premiere Pro
Story creation and sourcing ability
Written and oral skills that turn heads and stop scrolls. Copywriting, communications, and transcripts are an essential part of your job
Video production and post-production skills considered assets. We are building the podcast to encompass video our production staff can train you, you must be willing to learn
Education in AV, sound, video, marketing or equivalent experience may be considered
