Proveta Nutrition is on a path of continued growth and we are looking for a Ruminant Nutritionist with strong commercial awareness to join our team in Saskatoon, SK. Our goal is to provide customers with products and solutions that will improve their profitability and competitive advantage. The Nutritionist plays an active role in achieving our monogastric/dairy/beef business goals regionally, nationally and internationally.

Job title: Nutritionist  Monogastric & Ruminant

Job type: Permanent, Full/Part-time

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop feed formulations and provide technical advice on the farm.
Take the lead role in the development of new products and programs as seen needed in conjunction with sales and marketing
Working with field sales to create, maintain and execute a customer-focused business development plan that clearly identifies current and future growth opportunities
Thrive on the quality care of animals and in attaining sales profit goals through marketing and promotion programs
Support research and development activities/ field trials
Providing specialty support to other areas or businesses as directed by management.
Building and maintaining relationships and influence with key industry leaders including nutritionists, meat scientists, veterinarians, university personnel, and other consultants to our customer base.
Identify trends in customer behavior and generate sales opportunities
Monitor the quality assurance and quality control programs and comply with CFIA regulations
