Leadership Saskatoon is an organization committed to the development to community leaders in Saskatoon and area. Our pillar program is a 10-month community leadership program. In addition, we provide a variety of leadership development opportunities.
This position is the critical hub for communication and coordination and has exciting opportunities to network with a variety of Alumni and supporters from the public, private and non-profit sectors.
REQUIREMENTS:
Exceptional competency of office and web-based programs and data management.
Highly organized, task driven and can manage multiple tasks.
Effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
Strong understanding of general accounting practices.
Ability to work effectively with a wide range of volunteers is essential.
A belief and passion for community and leadership development is essential.
MAJOR DUTIES:
Prepares correspondence, reports and other documents. Experience using Adobe and programs like MailChimp and Eventbrite are an asset.
Assists in managing meeting polls, RSVPs, group emails, working with staff and/or subcommittees, maintaining relevant records, etc.
Provides confidential administrative support to the Leadership Saskatoon Board of Directors and occasionally other committees.
Administers the application process including receiving and reviewing applications and ensuring related decisions are communicated
Develops, schedules and updates web content. Experience using and understanding social media is an asset.
Assists with accounts payable and receivable. Experience with QuickBooks is an asset.
Participate as an active member of a three person staff team.
*An average of 15 20 hours per week. Actual time required will vary significantly over the course of the program including evenings from time to time. Remote work.
