Description

We, Canzi Dental, are a denture production operation established in 2021 and
located at Warman, SK.
We have among our team an opening for the position of a Dental Laboratory
Assistant, NOC 3223, at our dental laboratory. The recruit is expected to handle
administrative duties and assist in the production processes, and would need to be
competent in performing the following duties:
Perform administrative functions for the dental laboratory
Liaise and consult with dentists or other specialists on problematic dental
cases
Assist in the denture production process including:
o Designing and fabricating dental devices including full or partial
dentures, orthodontic appliances, crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, clasps
and bands, and implants
o Preparing plaster models and moulds from dental impressions, wax bite-
blocks and impression trays
o Mould wax over denture set-up to form full contours of artificial gums
o Making orthodontic bands
o Finishing framework of dentures of a variety of materials and polishing
and buffing dentures to obtain natural finish

The right candidate is required to:
have completed a up to 2 years formal training in Dental Technology and / or
Dental Assisting programs, and
have an equivalent of 4 or more years experience in the field of denture
making at a dental laboratory setting
