Camecos business technology services (BTS) department provides vital services to world-wide operations utilizing a variety of technologies to support key operations. As a member of Camecos business process and applications group, you will support Camecos digital journey by advancing digital technologies from ideas through to implementation. The team strives to standardize and harmonize process and data and incorporate industry-leading practices to deliver business value.
Cameco is looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to join the SAP functional team in support of the SAP Finance and Controlling module as we start our SAP S4 journey. In this role you will be responsible for user assistance, problem resolution, project and application implementations, as well as process leverage. This includes working directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, effectively configuring SAP FICO and utilizing industry best practices to enable the required business processes and analytical or reporting requirements.
This is an 18-month temporary position.
You will have the opportunity to work remote in this position.
Requirements of the position:
- Bachelors degree in business, computer science, engineering or related discipline
- Five to eight years of relevant work experience
- SAP certification
- Experience in SAP Finance, Controlling, Treasury and Tax
- SAP configuration and/or testing functionality experience
- Business process knowledge and continuous improvement process experience
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
Assets:
- Knowledge and experience in SAP master data management (MDM), Product Costing, Financial Planning and Consolidation and Group Reporting
- Ability to configure in other modules of SAP and desire to expand into other areas
- Prior experience in SAP S4 HANA
- Project management and business analyst experience
