Description

The Crisis Intervention Worker is responsible for meeting the varied needs of the residents of the Lloydminster Interval Home.

Deals first hand with crisis situations

Telephone Assessments

Determines the physical and mental needs of the resident

Records accurate information in files, on computer, and with regards to other forms of reporting

Orientates residents to the Shelter

Maintains confidentiality and high professional standards

Makes referrals for clients

Assists clients with safety plans and case plans

Responsible for maintaining a high standard of health and cleanliness and safety within the Home.

Coordinates and assigns daily household duties

Coordinates and assists in meal preparation, cleaning of rooms, general house cleaning, house laundry and gardening and maintenance
