ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Sonic Milling Systems is recruiting a highly motivated Process Engineer for its Saskatoon processing facility. This position is responsible for equipment design and procurement process. The Process Engineer will work closely with our Food Scientist to develop and produce new products. This position is also responsible for compliance with government regulations and food safety. Experience in a manufacturing plant preferably within the Food & Beverage industry is an asset. You must be able to work with minimal supervision, and as part of a multi-disciplined team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
This is a permanent full-time position based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Travel may be required within the province and annual corporate sponsored training will be provided which may be outside the province.

REQUIREMENTS
- Post-secondary education in one of the following disciplines: Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or another related field.
- One to two years of previous experience in the Food Manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of HACCP, Food Safety compliance requirements is an asset.
- Ability to operate specialized processing equipment.
- Familiarity with P&ID
