The OBASA Group of Companies is looking for a full time Assistant Controller to join our team in the Saskatoon, SK office.
OBASA is involved in corporate housing, real estate development and property management in Canada and the US. OBASA is a dynamic, growing group of companies and this position will work in many of these companies with an emphasis on supporting the Controller and Accounting team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Accounts payable processing / Accounts receivable processing
Accounting support to the Corporate Controller
Support as needed in areas such as reporting, investigating discrepancies, follow-ups with suppliers and clients
Assistance with some Human Resources functions, including recruitment and selection, learning and development and succession planning
Specific Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Microsoft Office
Experience and proficiency with QuickBooks, Simply Accounting, Sage, Ceridian.
Must be proficient in written and oral English
Detail oriented, accurate and organized
Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team
Education:
Successful completion of Business College or Accounting Program

Compensation will be determined by experience, fit, performance and other criteria that will be made available during the interview process.
