Description

Provision of continuing care for convalescent & chronically ill residents of all ages, although typically residents are over the age of 65.  This will be accomplished by providing direction & nursing care, leading the nursing team to achieve a high quality of resident care with emphasis on maintenance of health, independence, life satisfaction, overall comfort while acknowledging the personal rights of residents.  It includes ensuring safety at all times by providing leadership & supervision to staff regarding resident safety and workplace safety.

Experience and Education
Bachelors Degree in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing
Registration with Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association or with the Saskatchewan Psychiatric Nurses Association
Basic computer skills
Long Term Care experience an asset
