Less Stress Property Maintenance provides full & comprehensive services in lawn care, landscaping, full yard rejuvenation, window washing, sprinkler systems management and snow removal.
We are looking for experienced and motivated Landscape Labourers to join our team. As a Landscape Labourer on our team you operate mowers, leaf blowers, weed eaters, and other common tools to
create and maintain carefully manicured outdoor spaces. We are especially interested in candidates with prior experience in landscape maintenance, ground maintenance, aerating, sprinkler maintenance, and fertilization techniques.
Duties:
- Use mowers, weed eaters, and common hand tools to trim grass, edge lawn areas, and maintain nearby plants and foliage
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions, maintaining energy and pace along with the team
- Operate leaf blowers and gather grass and hedge trimmings for removal
- Drive a truck to various client locations and ensure proper storage of equipment during transport
- Wash windows
- Use snow blower and shovels for snow removal
- Sprinkler adjustments and maintenance
- Applying pesticides and preventing weed growth
Shifts are 8-10 hours in length, and may be scheduled any day of the week. Flexible shift times and days worked are available. Part-time and full-time positions are available.
Requirements:
- A valid driver's license
- Able to lift upwards of 50 pounds and bend, lift, and stand for extended periods
- Familiarity with common landscaping equipment
- Familiarity with safe work procedures for landscaping; strong safety mindset
- Prior experience or work in lawn maintenance (preferred)
- WHMIS 2015 (preferred)
- Reliable and self-motivated
