Description

The Senior Funding Administrator is responsible to review, decision and recommend release of funds by assessing the associated risk within the company's policies and procedures.

Key Outcomes & Responsibilities:

The Senior Funding Administrator reviews and recommends funding transactions
- Uses logical and analytical thinking, problem solving skills and common sense to evaluate the legal sufficiency of the executed documentation, including contractual documentation, title documents, and lien searches, assuring its completeness and accuracy once signed  
- Formulates alternatives to get the deal funded
- Prepares deficiency lists when appropriate, listing the required conditions
- Ensures the deal is in compliance with the credit approval and meets company policies and procedures throughout the entire process
- Meets the expectations of the customer, credit officer, account manager, vendor, Wyth management, service suppliers and legal counsel if necessary and provide continuous visibility throughout the entire process  
- Resolves issues and conflicts as they arise, effectively and with a sense of urgency, including documentation negotiations, purchase discrepancies, pricing discrepancies, out-of-policy occurrences
- Processes corporate searches which include security registrations, discharges, amendments, searches and renewals in multi-jurisdictional personal property registries; and fixture filings that include discharges, amendments, searches and renewals in multi-jurisdictional land title registries.  

Qualifications

- Post-secondary education in a business-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the leasing/regulated financial services environment.
- In depth knowledge and understanding of tax and PPSA legislation, policies and procedures
