Position: Full-Time Permanent
Posting closing Date: June 9, 2022

The Camp Coordinator is the first point of contact for all camping activities. This position is responsible to liaison with outside stakeholders at our various camp locations, forging strong relationships with these communities.This position is the expert in our various camp locations and will oversee the work and supplies required for each camp.

Education and Professional Certification
Completion of a high school diploma.
A certificate, diploma, or degree in Camp Management, Outdoor Recreation, Recreational Leadership or related field of study is an asset.

Experience
Four (4) years of experience in camping, outdoor recreational.
Experience working with children, youth and/or adults with behavioural, cognitive, mental health, and/or developmental challenges is an asset.
Experience in training and/or instructing is an asset.

Skills and Characteristics
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to form genuine relationships.
Ability to set clear, attainable goals.
Understands budget and allocation of resources.
Basic computer proficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholder (community members; Saskatchewan Environment and  Resource Management; Regional, Provincial, and National parks; and First Nations Communities).
Develops and implement a curriculum for each camp and coordinate camping opportunities for the agency.

Employees must hold a class five (5) novice two (2) or higher drivers license and be eligible for coverage under our commercial auto insurance policy.
