This role involves:
Welcoming patients to the clinics, being the face of the organization
Managing patient flow within the clinic, ensuring that patients are treated with care and respect, and that they are promptly attended to
Answering phone calls with friendliness and respect, being the voice of the organization.
Responding to messages, faxes and phone calls
Scheduling of patient appointments with physicians and Allied Health Professionals
Scanning health records and documents, performing clerical duties
Filing of documents to patient charts using Accuro (EMR), data entry
Working closely with physicians and Allied Health Professionals to keep them abreast of daily bookings and schedule changes, continually relaying information
Working closely with the office managers to ensure overall operational efficiency, continually relaying information
Essential Requirements:
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
Computer literacy, experience with basic Microsoft software packages
Experience with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) software, or similar software packages. Experience with Accuro is a plus.
Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
Personable approach with the ability to deal with patients of various ages and backgrounds
