Description

The Town is hiring two Summer Program Leaders to assist with our White City Summer Play Program. While occasionally, facilitating weekly drop-in programming in our parks as needed. This position will work closely with the Summer Play Coordinators and reports to the Manager of Parks, Recreation, and Culture.

Job Responsibilities
- Support the Summer Play Coordinators in the facilitation of the Summer Play Program.
- Implement program activities and special events, as planned, and developed by the Summer Play Coordinators.
- Report all incidents and accidents to the Summer Play Coordinators if they relate to the Summer Play Program.
- Work cooperatively with other program partners and volunteers.
- Ensure all Town policies and practices are adhered to, including all COVID-19 policies and regulations laid out by both the Town and the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
- Occasionally, facilitate weekly drop-in programming for youth in the community parks. Programming may include activities such as sports, crafts, and games.
- Report all incidents and accidents in the park to the Manager of Parks, Recreation & Culture.
- Perform other duties are assigned

Qualifications
- Young Workers Readiness Certificate, if under the age of 16.
- Flexible work schedule
- Some experience facilitating programs is an asset
- Police record check with vulnerable sector.
