Description

We are looking for a pleasant Front Desk Representative that is an integral part of a team that aims to deliver the highest quality of service excellence.  As a Front Desk Representative, you will be the first impression of the hotel and set the scene for their experience while at our hotel.  We require highly engaged individuals who focus on the highest level of customer service.
Daily responsibilities will include the following:
    Check in and check out guests following the correct procedures
    Make reservations ensuring all bookings made are accurate
    Ensure high level of customer service is maintained at all times
    Take cash, credit card and debit card payments when necessary
    Answer and assist all incoming telephone calls to Front Desk lines
    Assist guests with all questions and requests
    Ensure accurate information is provided to all clients
    Run daily end of shift audit reports and complete daily shift audit
    Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments
    Register arriving guests and assign rooms
    Answer enquiries regarding hotel services, registrations by letter, by telephone and in person, provide information about services available in the community and respond to guest complaints
    Compile and check daily record sheets, guest accounts, receipts and vouchers using computerized or manual systems
    Present statement of charges to departing guests and receive payment
    Daily accounting data entry and reconcile
Qualifications and Skills Required: (include education and work experience)
    Previous Hotel Front Desk Experience preferred or Hospitality Management Certificate/Diploma
    Must have excellent communication skills
    Comfortable with computer programs and software
    Computer literate and adaptable to various programs
    Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
    Possess basic math, reading and writing skills
Employees after 90 days of continuous employment
