Leah The Plumber is currently searching for an experienced, dedicated Journey Person Plumber to grow with our team.
Your Duties and Responsibilities
To the team, you will bring your customer-focused mentality and technical skills to the table to carry out the following tasks and provide unmatched value to each and every one of our customers.
Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of customers and fellow employees at all times by maintaining clean and safe work sites
Estimate all aspects of a project including all materials, costs, equipment, and time frames
Install, repair, and troubleshoot all equipment for plumbing, air conditioning, heating, and HVAC
Perform rough-ins, repair and replace fixtures, locate and repair, and/or remove leaky or broken pipes
Install water heaters, water softeners, sinks, taps, and tubs
Assist in demolition for renovations
Instruct customers on proper care and maintenance of mechanical equipment
Qualifications
Successful completion of Journeyman Plumber Certificate, or are third-year apprentice with residential experience
Excellent knowledge of plumbing, gas codes, and current laws and regulations of the trade
Practices a methodical approach to problem-solving
Takes pride in your work and never stops seeking to improve
Strives to provide top-notch customer service skills
Independent and team-oriented
Obtains a gas ticket (or ability to obtain one)
Available 1 weekend per month to work on-call (for which Friday and Monday will be your days off)
Hold a valid Class 5 Driver's License
Compliant with a background check that involves a criminal record check and vulnerable section check
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
