Brandt is currently seeking an Assembly Supervisor for our Brandt Saskatoon Manufacturing Facility.  The successful candidate will required a minimum of 10 years practical experience and will have their journeypersons certificate from a recognized trade school, relevant experience considered.  They will have strong organizational and leadership skills and the ability to work individually as well as part of a team.  The candidate will have a positive attitude, be a fit with the Brandt team and leadership requirements, and lead by example.


Duties & Responsibilities:

-Supervise the production crew and monitor productivity and efficiency of department to ensure that the production schedule and customer delivery schedules are met in an efficient and effective manner
-Assign work, prioritize work and ensure employees follow direction given regarding safe work practices
-Maintain shift and department employee headcounts at the level established by management
-Ensure department is consistently producing a high quality product and inspect quality and procedures on an ongoing basis
-Ensure safe work practices are followed at all times and all workers know and understand the Brandt safe work practices including their responsibility to ensure all Brandt employees are working in a safe manner
-Work with operations and shop management to establish areas and needs for continuous improvement
-Assist the Operations and Shop Managers in creating and sustaining a culture of continuous improvement
