Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Consultant to join our team.  The successful candidate is results-driven who effectively partners with the business to develop and implement sound HR solutions.  This position reports directly into the Director, Human Resources and the role will be ideal for a well-rounded Human Resources professional.

You will be great at:

* Providing insight into business and HR strategy; and are able to frame issues and bring the right insights and recommendations to discussions and problem solving in order to create effective solutions;
* Providing HR expertise and guidance to people leaders in all areas of HR, including recruitment and selection, employee development, performance management, classification and job evaluation, compensation, employee and labour relations, employment law, Occupational Health and Safety,  and talent management.
* Coaching, consulting and contracting with business leaders and their teams while partnering with your colleagues within the Centres of Excellence across the Division as an extension of the service offering;
* Instilling a strong process and HR operational mindset and business partnership into projects and solutions, in order to offer exceptional HR operations service and delivery.

You will bring:

* A Bachelors degree in Business Administration, or an equivalent combination;
* Over 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience working with a combination of a strong HR generalist and/or specialist background;
* A current CPHR professional designation is a definite asset;
