Complete framing of houses and back framing, including foundations and floor beams; stairs;
Able to use measuring tools to prepare layouts in conformance to building codes;
Able to interpret and read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements;
Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials;
Able to lead a crew
Able to fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
Requirements: -
Minimum two years of work experience;
Will work at heights of up to 20 feet high;
Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently throughout an 8-hour shift;
Completion of High school;
Steel stud framing and drywall at times; however, the majority of the work is wood framing;
Basic knowledge of English is required;
We have a great team and are looking to expand it.
